Hi and welcome to SHAG Workshops!

Workshops are conducted by either SHAG staff or local artists and instructors. Advanced registration is necessary for most workshops. Please call SHAG at 347.721.3302 or register online. Workshops are added on a monthly basis, so check our website or come by the shop for up to date information. Instructors, class times, and class dates are subject to change. If a change is made students will be contacted individually.

Registration & Cancellation - To register for a workshop, you must provide a valid credit card or pay cash in person (workshops are to be paid in full at time of registration).
All workshops are non-refundable. If you do need to withdraw from a class you can reschedule for a future class (as a one time courtesy) and you will be charged a 25% Cancellation Fee. You will be given credit towards another future workshop and this credit is good for 6 months. If you are absent from the class without notifying Shag, you will be charged the full cost of the workshop and receive no credit (sorry folks!). 

Materials – Materials for workshops will be listed on an individual basis. Please check the workshops page on our website to determine if you will need to bring your own materials or if SHAG will supply them. If SHAG supplies your materials, the cost will be included in the price of the workshop.

If We Cancel a Class - Most workshops offered at SHAG require a minimum of 5 students to register in order for the class to commence. In the event a course does not receive sufficient enrollment, it may be cancelled. Students will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the start of the class if it is cancelled and students will not be charged.
